stepping into new ground
Hey Peak City Family,
We’ve made it to Week 3! Whether you’ve stayed consistent or had some stumbles along the way, I want you to know that God honors every step you’ve taken to seek Him during this fast.
This final week is all about looking forward and stepping into the new ground God has prepared for you in 2025. One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 43:19: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” That’s what this fast has been about—letting God clear the clutter, fill the space, and now, preparing us to walk into the new things He has for us.
Think about it like this: fasting is like tilling the soil. You’ve been breaking up hard ground, removing rocks, and making room for God to plant something new. This week, ask Him to show you what “new ground” looks like in your life. Is it a deeper prayer life? A stronger connection with your family? Greater trust in His provision? Whatever it is, step into it with boldness.
As we wrap up this season, let’s not lose what we’ve gained. The rhythms you’ve created during this fast—prayer, Scripture, worship—don’t have to stop. Let them be the foundation for the year ahead. I believe God has incredible things in store for you and for Peak City. Let’s step into 2025 together, ready to take new ground!
Love you all and can’t wait to celebrate BAPTISM WEEKEND with you all. Invite a friend!
