Here at Peak City, we love to see people within our church and within our community succeed. We understand there are a number of circumstances that can lead someone to a place of need.
Types of Needs
Whether someone is in need of a wheelchair ramp being built, a bill paid to relieve financial burden, or meals provided during a challenging time, we want to help. We categorize these needs into two buckets:
SEE THE NEED
See the Need is our effort to make ourselves useful and jump into our community around us. Each month, we set aside some of our budget and time to assist someone here in Colorado Springs. We want to get personal. We want to help families, groups, and individuals. But most importantly, we want to reflect Jesus. But we need you to be the eyes of this ministry! Be aware of what's going on around you. See the needs in schools, at work, or in your neighborhood. Remember that there may be something you can do about it just by partnering with us! If you see a need, let us know. We'll contact you and work on ways to start meeting those needs all around us.
BENEVOLENCE
Benevolence is our effort to love on those who regularly attend Peak City and are facing financial hardships. Each month, we set aside some of our budget and time to financially assist our people in times of need. We also believe in the importance of empowering people with knowledge to make healthier financial decisions in the future. We have financial coaches ready to meet with individuals, hear their stories, and walk alongside them as they build a better future with their finances. We love to help people at Peak City utilize their financial resources to glorify God.
