Rooted is a 10-week group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. Together, in groups of 10-15, you’ll:

  • Explore the Bible

  • Engage in prayer and serve experiences

  • Share stories and build community

  • Practice the rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life.

Groups will meet in person and be led by a trained facilitator who will come alongside you throughout the 10 weeks.

Rooted can often be a catalyst for life-change. Rooted is designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story. It is a group-discipleship resource that introduces participants to foundational Christian beliefs and the 7 Rhythms of discipleship found in the New Testament, while providing experiential learning opportunities that challenge them to step outside their comfort zones and live out their faith.

What is Rooted?

Rooted is a 10-week experience. Yes, it is a bible study, but it is also an experience to learn not just about Jesus but put into practice how to live like Him. The experience covers everything from Genesis and the creation story to us telling our own story! There are experiences built in to serve our community, pray together, and thoughtfully talk through the topic of money together. 

Is Rooted more tailored to new followers of Jesus? Who is Rooted for?

Rooted is for everyone! As we continue to talk with other churches who have had Rooted at their church for a while, we are continuously reminded that anyone can participate. Whether you aren't sure what to believe about Jesus, just decided to follow Him, or have been following Him for 30 years, it is truly a curriculum shaped to engage anyone.

When is Rooted?

Rooted is held at Peak City in the Winter (January-March) and Fall (August-November). January 16th, 2024 will kick-off Winter Rooted.

Why is Rooted only on Tuesday nights?

Throughout Rooted, we have a number of whole-group gatherings at the church. So, all groups will meet at the church and on Tuesday nights to ensure we have everyone in the same place at the same time for these gatherings!

Is there childcare?

Yes! Please indicate this on the signup form!

Am I required to be at every group meeting?

Our goal is that you would attend every group meeting. We believe this experience works best when you are able to engage with your group weekly. However, life happens! We recommend not missing more than 2 meetings for the best experience.

There’s only one registration link. How will I know what group I am in?

Our team works diligently to go through the pool of registrations and strategically place people together in groups. We want to do our best effort to place people in a group where they will be the most comfortable and grow the best!

What if I can’t do Rooted? What are my other options for groups?

We also offer small groups on varying days and times if you're unable to be a part of Rooted!

When is the last day I can sign up for Rooted?

For Winter registration, the last day to sign up is January 7th!
