About The Scriptures

The Bible is an incredible gift to the world. If we’ll take the time to learn and understand it’s true message, we find God reveals himself through it. We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and without error.

About God

God is love, and He loves you more than you can possibly imagine. We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became a man to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the world.

About Humanity

People are the pinnacle of God’s creation and His heart is always for us. We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have a relationship with him, but became alienated in that relationship through our sin. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts. We can only be restored to a relationship with God through Jesus.

About Salvation

We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ. You are saved the moment you say “Yes” to Jesus.

About The Christian Life

We believe all Jesus followers should live for Christ and not for themselves. Through daily obedience to Jesus, every believer will mature and be conformed to the image of Christ. However, we do not expect people who don’t believe in Jesus to act like those who do. We love and accept those who don’t live like we live. Our faith community is loving and inclusive of all people, from every walk of life.

About The Church

We believe that the church is God’s plan A for rescuing the world, and there is no plan B. Jesus is our leader. The members of the church are those who have said “Yes” to Jesus and have decided to follow him. The purpose of the church is to grow together as we celebrate what God has done for us and make Him known to the world around us. The Church was intended to be the most welcoming, loving, and inclusive family that the world has ever seen.

About Sexuality

Sexuality is incredibly complicated and our culture has been led to believe that it is our primary identity. We reject that notion and strive to put sexuality in its proper place in our lives. While we welcome people of all sexual orientations, we believe that God’s design for sexuality and for marriage is specific and best for humanity. We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning for the follower of Jesus: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as described in Genesis 2:18-25. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4). For the follower of Jesus, we believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person. As male or female, these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27).
