At Peak City Church We exist to help people discover Jesus and follow Him fearlessly!
We do this by creating an atmosphere for people to encounter God; in a RAW, PASSIONATE, AND CLEAR environment!
Thank you for being a part of Peak City Church! Every time you serve, you are being used by God to make a difference in the lives of others by doing your part! When we serve, we do our very best because Jesus is worth it and people are worth it!
Capture Team Standards:
SHOTS TO GET:
Wide, Medium & close shots of worship
Always grab wide and zoomed shots of worship from the back of the room. (During the last two songs is usually best for these shots.)
Wide, Medium & close shots of preaching
Peak City Kids pictures
Families with kids (Permission only)
People in bright light (lobby and outdoors) talking and laughing
How To’s:
Turn on camera and check all exposure, white balance and focus settings.
For exposure settings you should keep your aperture as low as possible, especially indoors.
Your shutter speed should be between 1/80 and 1/200 depending on your focal length. The LED lights will show banding in your image if you shoot above 1/200.
Your ISO can be set to automatic if your aperture and shutter speeds are correct.
Familiarize yourself with the lens for zoom range and limitations. Plan shots accordingly.
TIPS:
Know the schedule for the day so you can anticipate and plan your shots and timing.
Shoot close band pictures during rehearsal.
Double check facial expressions in photos to be sure they’re flattering.
Intentionally by shoot to show the diversity of people represented.
Group different people together for fun shots.
Avoid shooting down the aisles as it makes the room seem more empty.
Shoot diagonally across a crowd to capture a fuller look.
Put the camera on silent mode and snap away.
Slow down and think about the composition, lighting and moment you’re capturing.
