The Gospel means Good News. Here is a simple explanation of the Good news of Jesus.
God made it
God made the world and everything in it perfectly. (Read Genesis 1:1 - 2:3)
We broke it
When sin entered the world, it broke our perfect relationship with God. So, we are now separated from God. (Read Genesis 3:1-24)
Jesus Fixed it
There is nothing we can do on our own to fix our relationship with God. So, He sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to fix our broken relationship. (Read 1 Peter 2:24)
Now What?
The Bible tells us to turn away from sin and follow Jesus. (Luke 18:22)

A public declaration of a private decision to follow Jesus.

We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ. You are saved the moment you say “Yes” to Jesus. Baptism is a public declaration of a private decision to follow Jesus.
